How to prepare for your attic cleanout — practical steps
If you want to prepare before our team arrives, these steps make the process faster and help you keep what matters.
Step 1—Do not move anything into the access area yet. Leave everything where it is. Our team will work through the space systematically and carry everything out. Moving items yourself risks damage to the structure or injury in a confined space.
Step 2 — Identify anything you want to keep If there are specific items you want to keep—a box of family photographs, specific furniture, certain tools—mark them clearly with a sticker or label before we arrive. Everything unmarked we treat as removal unless you tell us otherwise.
Step 3 — Three categories Think through your items in three categories—keep, donate, and dispose. Anything in reasonable condition that you no longer need can be donated to Danish charity organizations and genbrugsstationer. Everything else we dispose of correctly. If you are unsure, leave the decision to us, and we will assess each item on arrival.
Step 4—Email us the details.
