In short
Your mover gets it across the Atlantic. We take it from there.
Moving from the United States to Denmark usually means a US moving company ships your household goods by sea in a container or crates, and you fly ahead. What happens when the shipment reaches Denmark is often the hard part: the dates rarely match your keys, Copenhagen streets are narrow, many buildings have no lift, and someone has to carry everything up, put the beds together and get the home ready.
Get It All Service ApS is your team on the Danish side. We receive your shipment at our warehouse in Albertslund or meet it at your new home, store it until the keys are ready, deliver and carry it in, assemble your furniture, clean the home and unpack. We speak English every day, we answer across time zones by email and WhatsApp, and we have worked across Copenhagen and Zealand since 2015.
What we do in Denmark
The last mile, done properly.
Receive your shipment
Your mover’s Danish agent or the shipping company delivers to our warehouse at Læhegnet 73, 2620 Albertslund. We check it in, photograph it and tell you it has arrived.
Storage until the keys are ready
Ocean shipments arrive when they arrive. We keep your boxes and furniture safe until your new home is ready, for days or months.
Delivery and carrying in
Our team delivers in a van that fits Copenhagen streets and carries everything up the stairs, also in buildings without a lift.
Assembly
Beds, wardrobes and tables put back together, plus new furniture collected from IKEA or any Danish store.
Cleaning and unpacking
The home cleaned before you move in, boxes unpacked and the packaging taken away.
Luggage from the airport
We meet your flight at Copenhagen Airport and take your suitcases home, so you arrive with empty hands.
How it works
Four steps from the US to your Danish front door.
1. Tell us your dates
When your shipment leaves the US, when you land, and your new address in Denmark. Use the form on this page.
2. We agree with your mover
Send us your mover’s contact. We agree the delivery address, date and paperwork with them or their Danish agent directly.
3. We receive and store
Your things arrive at our warehouse or your new home. You get photos and a short report.
4. Your home is ready
Delivered, assembled, cleaned and unpacked, before or on the day you land.
Good to know
Shipping your home from the US to Denmark.
Customs
Household goods from the US enter the EU through customs. Used personal belongings can often come in without duty or VAT when you move your home to Denmark, if you meet the conditions and the paperwork is right. Check the rules with the Danish Customs Agency (Toldstyrelsen) and your mover before you ship.
Electricity
Denmark uses 230 volts and European plugs. Many US appliances made for 110 volts will not work without a transformer, so think twice before shipping large electrical items.
Keep a list
A simple list of what is in each box helps customs and helps us. We can give you numbered box labels with codes, so every box can be tracked from arrival to your room.
Cars, pets and alcohol
These have their own rules. Ask your mover early, and tell us if anything special is coming.
Do you move my things from the US?
We are a Danish company and work on the Danish side. Your US mover or shipping company brings your things to Denmark, and we receive, store, deliver, assemble and clean here. If you do not have a mover yet, tell us and we suggest how to ship.
Can my mover deliver to your warehouse?
Yes. Our warehouse is at Læhegnet 73, 2620 Albertslund, west of Copenhagen. We agree the time with your mover or their Danish agent and check your shipment in with photos.
My shipment arrives before my apartment is ready. What then?
We store it at our warehouse and deliver it on the day you get the keys. The storage is included in your written price.
What does it cost?
It depends on the volume, how long we store it, the floor and what we assemble. You get one written price before anything starts.
Do I pay duty on my belongings?
Used personal belongings can often enter Denmark without duty or VAT when you move your home here, but the conditions and forms matter. Check with the Danish Customs Agency (Toldstyrelsen) and your mover before shipping.
We are in a different time zone. How do we stay in touch?
By email and WhatsApp, with photos at every step. We reply within 2 to 24 hours.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are insured with If Skadeforsikring.
