Estate Cleanout Services Copenhagen — Get It All Service ApS

Get It All Service ApS provides professional, compassionate estate cleanout services across Copenhagen, Greater Copenhagen and all of Denmark. When a loved one passes away, the practical responsibility of clearing their home arrives at exactly the wrong moment — when you are grieving, exhausted and dealing with everything else that follows a bereavement. We are here to take that burden from you completely.

We clear apartments, houses, basement storage rooms, loft spaces and garages — everything from a single room to an entire property. We can clear while the family is not present, with photographic confirmation of completion and an inventory of items removed on request. Our English-speaking team is available Monday–Saturday 07:30–18:00 and Sunday 10:30–17:00. CVR 36730595.

Estate clearance in Denmark — what it involves

Dealing with a deceased person’s property in Denmark involves several practical steps that often need to happen within a specific timeframe — particularly if the property is a rented lejlighed where the lease needs to be terminated, or a property being prepared for sale through a boligsalg.

Danish landlords and housing associations typically give the estate a defined period to clear and hand back the property. This creates time pressure at an already difficult moment. Solicitors, skifteretten and boligforeninger may all be involved in the process.

Get It All Service ApS works with families, solicitors, executors and housing administrators across Copenhagen and Denmark to clear estates efficiently, within deadlines and with the sensitivity that the situation demands.

We do not rush families. We work at the pace that is right for the situation. But when there is a deadline, we can work quickly and have a full property cleared in a single day.

What we clear in an estate cleanout

We remove and dispose of most items from a Danish home as part of an estate clearance. Common items we handle include:

Furniture Sofas, beds, wardrobes, dining tables, chairs, desks, bookshelves and all household furniture. We dismantle flat-pack and assembled furniture before removal where needed.

Appliances and white goods Refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves and all household appliances. All white goods are disposed of in compliance with Danish WEEE regulations.

Clothing and textiles Clothing, shoes, bedding, curtains, towels and household textiles. Wearable clothing in good condition is donated to Danish charity organisations rather than disposed of.

Books, media and personal collections Books, vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, magazines and personal collections. Items of potential value are identified and set aside before disposal.

Electronics Televisions, computers, audio equipment, phones and all electronic devices. All electronics are processed at certified Danish WEEE recycling facilities.

Kitchen items and household goods Crockery, cookware, utensils, glassware and general kitchen contents. Usable kitchenware is assessed for donation.

Valuables and sentimental items We never dispose of anything without confirmation from the family or executor. If we identify items that may have monetary or sentimental value — jewellery, artwork, antiques, documents — we set them aside and bring them to your attention before we continue.

Basement and loft storage Estate clearances typically include the property’s kælderrum and loftrum. These often contain the most accumulated items and are frequently overlooked until the last moment.

Garden and outdoor items Garden furniture, tools, plant pots and outdoor equipment where the property has outdoor space.

How we handle items of potential value

One of the most important parts of an estate clearance is ensuring that nothing of value is accidentally disposed of. Over decades of living, people accumulate items whose value is not always obvious — a piece of jewellery wrapped in a cloth, a document in a drawer, artwork that has been on a wall so long nobody thinks about it.

Our team is instructed to set aside any item that could be of monetary or sentimental value — including jewellery, watches, silverware, artwork, antiques, important documents, photograph albums, coin collections and collectables. These items are shown to the family or executor before we proceed. Nothing leaves the property without your knowledge and approval.

If you suspect the property may contain items of significant value, we recommend arranging a brief pre-clearance walk-through with a family member or executor before our team starts work.

Responsible disposal — donation before disposal

Estate clearances generate large volumes of items. At Get It All Service ApS we do not send everything to landfill. Before disposal we assess every item for reuse.

Clothing in good condition goes to Danish Red Cross, Kirkens Korshær and other charity collection points across Copenhagen. Books go to local genbrugsstationer and charity bookshops. Furniture in reasonable condition is donated through Danish genbrugsstationer and charity networks. Kitchenware, bedding and household textiles are assessed for donation.

Only items that cannot be donated — broken furniture, worn textiles, damaged goods, hazardous materials — go to disposal facilities. Everything is processed correctly under Danish environmental regulations.

If the family wishes, we can provide a written summary of what was donated and what was disposed of. This is available on request at no extra charge.
