Today, 10 June 2026, Get It All Service ApS completed an urgent same-day junk removal job in Kongens Lyngby — a bed frame with storage compartments, a mattress, an office chair and a table cleared from a 1st floor apartment at Gammel Jernbanevej 20A with a strict move-out deadline.
We want to be transparent about something that happened on this job, because it is genuinely useful information for anyone booking a removal service in the Copenhagen area. When the customer sent us the address — Gammel Jernbanevej 20A — our driver initially headed toward Valby, where a street with a very similar name exists. The confusion was caught quickly and corrected, but it highlights something important: Kongens Lyngby and Valby are two completely different cities, approximately 15 km apart, and providing the full postcode with your address avoids any such situation entirely.
The correct address was in Kongens Lyngby, 2800 — not Valby, 2500. Always include your postcode when booking any service in the Copenhagen area. It takes three seconds and eliminates any possibility of confusion.
About Kongens Lyngby — and why it generates junk removal demand
Kongens Lyngby is a major town in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, approximately 12 km north of central Copenhagen. It is home to the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), one of Europe’s leading engineering universities, which brings a large and frequently changing population of students, researchers and academic staff. It also has a significant corporate presence — including Bang & Olufsen’s Danish headquarters at Gammel Lundtoftevej 1B, just minutes from today’s job address.
This combination — students moving in and out annually, international researchers on fixed-term contracts, corporate employees relocating — means Kongens Lyngby generates consistent demand for exactly the kind of urgent same-day junk removal we completed today. Apartments need clearing. Move-out deadlines are real. Furniture accumulated during a Danish posting needs to go before the keys are handed back.
What the job involved
The customer had a strict move-out deadline and needed four items removed the same day he contacted us. He offered to bring the mattress, office chair, table and under-bed storage compartments down to street level himself before our arrival — which he did. The bed frame was dismantled upstairs by our removal man and carried down. Everything was disposed of through ARC eco-certified channels.
We kept the quoted price unchanged despite the customer’s offer to carry items downstairs — because we understood the urgency and wanted to ensure he could meet his deadline without any additional stress. The customer left a 5-star review after the job was completed.
