Wednesday 24 June 2026. While Scandinavia’s most exclusive automotive event was still being assembled in the grounds of Norrviken Gardens in Båstad, Sweden, the GIA Service ApS van was already on the E20 heading north from Copenhagen.
Our destination: Norrviken Gardens, Båstad — the setting for The Aurora Concours 2026, Scandinavia’s premier automotive and lifestyle event. Our client: Bang & Olufsen, the Danish design and audio company founded in 1925, whose exhibition installation needed to be in place before the gates opened to the public on 26 June.
The job was a white glove transport from Bang & Olufsen’s premises in Kongens Lyngby, Copenhagen, to the exhibition grounds in Båstad — a cross-border delivery covering approximately 130 km via the Øresund Bridge, through Malmö, and north along the Swedish coast to one of Scandinavia’s most beautiful event venues.
The Aurora Concours — the context matters
The Aurora 2026 presented 68 cars in a dual concours format, with Ferrari carrying out its largest activation ever in the Nordics, while main partners J.P. Morgan Private Bank and BMW entered their third year. Several of the cars were shown in Scandinavia for the first time. This is not a regional car show. In just three years, The Aurora has established itself as one of Europe’s most dynamic automotive and cultural events, attracting over 15,000 visitors in 2025 and earning a nomination for Breakthrough Event of the Year at the International Historic Motoring Awards.
The exhibitor list reads like a directory of the world’s most prestigious automotive and lifestyle brands. Bang & Olufsen belongs in that company. The Aurora combines classic cars, hypercars, and contemporary design in a unique, immersive setting — and Bang & Olufsen’s presence at this event is consistent with a brand that has defined the intersection of sound and design for a century.

What the job involved
The delivery included the Muuto Reflect Sideboard — a premium 180cm wide designer piece — and the Vipp Daybed, a substantial 200cm low-profile piece with the build quality that Vipp is known for. Both required specialist handling throughout: furniture blankets from loading to placement, careful positioning in the van alongside the primary Bang & Olufsen installation items, and white glove placement at the venue.
The route from Lyngby takes you south through Copenhagen, across the Øresund Bridge into Sweden, through Malmö, and north on the E6 toward Helsingborg before cutting west to Båstad. The highway signs that mark the Swedish cities along this route — Malmö, Helsingborg, Lund — are a reminder of how close Scandinavia’s great cities are to each other when you have the right vehicle and the right team.
Arrival at Norrviken: one of the most beautiful venues in Sweden. The Gardens are a historic estate with French-style promenades, Japanese-inspired landscaping and a mansion at the centre. The Aurora transforms this into an automotive exhibition ground where Koenigsegg hypercars and 1930s Rolls-Royces share the lawn. We were there before the cars. The Bang & Olufsen installation was in position before the public arrived.
Why exhibition and event logistics demand a different standard
