How to track a GIA shipment from Denmark
To track a GIA shipment from Denmark, enter your GIA reference or the tracking number from your GIA email in the box above and press Track. You see where your goods are now, from our warehouse in Copenhagen to delivery at the ground floor of your address abroad, with the time of each step, the carrier's live updates during the journey and any photos we have checked and shared.
How tracking works
At the GIA warehouse
When your goods arrive in Copenhagen, we check them against your receipt, photograph them and repack them for the journey. Each step appears here as soon as we log it.
On the journey
Once your shipment leaves our warehouse, the carrier's scans appear here as live updates, with the local time and the city of each scan, and GIA's own steps move along with them.
Arrival and delivery
Outside the EU, your shipment is cleared in your country first. It is then delivered to the ground floor at your address.
What each status means
| Status | What it means |

| Booked | We have your request and your GIA reference is active. We are waiting for the shop to deliver your goods to GIA, or for the agreed collection. |
| Received at GIA warehouse | Your goods have arrived at the GIA warehouse in Copenhagen. |
| Inspected and photographed | We have checked your goods against the receipt and taken photographs. |
| Repacked and secured | Your goods are secured on a pallet or in an outer box and labelled with your GIA reference. |
| Handed to carrier | Your shipment has left the GIA warehouse and started its international journey. |
| In transit | Your shipment is travelling towards your country. |
| Customs processing at destination | Your shipment is being cleared in the destination country. This applies to countries outside the EU customs area. |
| Out for delivery | Your shipment is on its way to your address for delivery today. |
| Delivered to ground floor | Your shipment has been delivered to the ground floor at your address. |

Questions about tracking
How do I track my GIA shipment from Denmark?
Enter your GIA reference or the tracking number from your GIA email in the box at the top of this page and press Track. You see the current status first, every GIA step from our Copenhagen warehouse to delivery, and the live updates from the carrier during the journey.
Can I track any DHL or FedEx shipment here?
Yes. Enter any DHL or FedEx tracking number, also for shipments GIA did not send, and press Track. We ask DHL and FedEx directly and show the route, the current status and the scan history by city. Names and addresses are never shown.
Where do I find my GIA reference and tracking number?
Both are in the emails GIA sends you about your shipment. The GIA reference starts with GIA-SH- followed by eight letters and numbers. Either one works on this page. If you cannot find them, call GIA on +45 93 84 13 33.
How often is the tracking updated?
GIA logs each step at the warehouse as it happens. During the journey the carrier's updates are checked at least once an hour, and again when you open this page if the last check is more than 15 to 30 minutes old. "Last checked" shows when we last asked the carrier.
Why does a step say Completed without a time?
Some steps are confirmed without an exact time, and some updates arrive with a date only. We then show the date, or Completed, rather than a time we are not sure of.
Can I see photos of my goods?
Yes, when we share them. Photos taken on arrival and after repacking appear on this page once we have checked them.
Who pays customs and import taxes?
The receiver. GIA prepares the export documents in Denmark. Customs clearance, duties and taxes in the destination country are paid by the receiver. Delivery is to the ground floor.
What does Update required mean?
We or the carrier are checking something about your shipment and would like to speak with you. Please call GIA on +45 93 84 13 33 and have your reference ready.
What can other people see on this page?
Only someone with your reference or tracking number can see your shipment. They see the destination city and country, the number of pieces, the progress and the carrier's scan history by city. Your name, address, phone number, receipt and the value of the goods are never shown.

Customs clearance, duties and taxes in the destination country are the receiver's responsibility. Delivery is to the ground floor.
