Tyre Removal & Disposal Copenhagen — Get It All Service ApS

Get It All Service ApS collects and disposes of old tyres and wheels from homes, garages, gardens and businesses across Copenhagen, Greater Copenhagen and all of Denmark. Whether you have a single tyre taking up space or a full set of seasonal tyres you need removed — we collect from your address and ensure every tyre is processed correctly under Danish environmental regulations.

Old tyres cannot go in ordinary waste in Denmark. Disposing of them incorrectly is illegal and carries significant environmental consequences. We remove the problem entirely. English-speaking team. Open Monday–Saturday 07:30–18:00 and Sunday 10:30–17:00. CVR 36730595.

Why tyre disposal in Denmark requires specialist handling

In Denmark, dæk — tyres — are classified as a specialist waste stream under Danish environmental law and the EU End-of-Life Vehicles Directive. Tyres cannot be placed in ordinary household waste, cannot go to a standard landfill and must be processed through approved collection schemes.

The reason is both environmental and practical. Tyres contain synthetic rubber, carbon black, steel wire reinforcement, sulphur compounds and chemical processing additives. In a landfill, tyres do not compress, they trap gases and create fire risks. Burning tyres releases highly toxic compounds including dioxins, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. Danish environmental authorities take tyre disposal seriously — incorrect disposal of tyres in Denmark is an environmental offence.

Approved tyre disposal channels in Denmark include take-back schemes at tyre retailers and garages, genbrugsstationer with dedicated tyre collection, and professional waste collection services like Get It All Service ApS.

The practical challenge for most Danish residents is transport. Getting four seasonal tyres or a set of old wheels out of a basement storage room, loading them into a vehicle and driving to a genbrugscenter during opening hours is inconvenient. We remove that inconvenience entirely.

Tyres and wheels we collect

Passenger car tyres Standard summer tyres, winter tyres and all-season tyres from cars of all sizes. We collect loose tyres and tyres mounted on alloy or steel wheels.

Seasonal tyre sets Very common in Denmark where winter tyres are a practical requirement from October to April. Many Danish households accumulate old seasonal tyre sets in their kælderrum or garage that are no longer roadworthy or no longer fit their current vehicle. We collect full sets in any condition.

SUV and 4×4 tyres Larger format tyres from SUVs and off-road vehicles — collected and processed as standard.

Van and light commercial vehicle tyres Tyres from vans, minibuses and light commercial vehicles.

Motorcycle and scooter tyres Motorcycle tyres, moped tyres and electric scooter tyres — increasingly common in Copenhagen with the growth of urban motorcycle and scooter use.

Bicycle tyres in bulk Old bicycle tyres and inner tubes accumulated in quantity — for example from a cycling club, a bike shop or a property clearance with large numbers of old bicycles. Individual bicycle tyres are handled as general rubber waste.

Agricultural and industrial tyres Large format tyres from agricultural machinery, forklifts and industrial vehicles. These require separate pricing due to size and weight — contact us with details.

Tyres with rims and wheels We collect tyres still mounted on steel or alloy wheels. We do not require you to dismount tyres from wheels before collection.

What happens to tyres collected in Denmark

Danish tyre recycling is a mature and well-organised system. Virtually no tyre collected through approved channels in Denmark goes to landfill.

Crumb rubber production The primary recycling stream for end-of-life tyres in Denmark. Tyres are shredded and the rubber granulate — crumb rubber — is used in synthetic sports pitches, playground surfaces, running tracks and rubber flooring. You have almost certainly walked on recycled Danish tyre rubber if you have visited a sports facility or playground.

Tyre-derived fuel Tyres have a very high calorific value. In Denmark, some tyre waste is processed into tyre-derived fuel — TDF — used in cement kilns and industrial boilers as a substitute for coal. This is managed under strict emissions controls.

Steel recovery The steel wire reinforcement inside tyres is recovered and recycled at certified metal recycling facilities.

Retreading Tyres in sufficient structural condition may be assessed for retreading — adding new tread to an existing carcass. This extends tyre life and reduces the demand for new tyre production.

At Get It All Service ApS we take all collected tyres to approved Danish tyre processing facilities. Every tyre we collect enters the legitimate Danish tyre recycling stream.

Tyres in Danish homes and the seasonal tyre situation

Denmark is one of the few European countries where a significant proportion of drivers use separate winter tyres — vinterdæk — rather than all-season tyres. This means millions of Danish households store a second set of tyres at home for six months of the year. Most Danish driver storage tyres in their kælderrum, garage or loftrum.

Over time, old sets accumulate — the tyres from a previous car that no longer fits the new one, a set worn beyond legal tread depth, a set of original tyres replaced with better winter performance alternatives. Many Danish households have two, three or even four sets of old tyres sitting in storage because the inconvenience of getting rid of them has never been worth dealing with.

Get It All Service ApS removes this backlog in a single visit. We carry the tyres out from your storage room, load them and take them away. For a typical four-tyre set from a kælderrum, the collection takes under 30 minutes.
