The short answer
Denmark and Germany are both in the EU customs union, so there are no customs duties when goods move between them, and goods for your own or your family’s use need no customs declaration. Get It All Service ApS collects your boxes, suitcases, furniture or pallets at your door anywhere in Denmark and delivers them by road to the ground floor at your address in Germany, from Hamburg and Berlin to Munich and Cologne.
What we ship
- Moving boxes, suitcases and bags
- Furniture, packed and wrapped, or dismantled on request
- Bikes, prams and sports gear
- Pallets for larger moves and for students or posted workers going home
Before you book
Even without customs, the same safety rules apply on the road: no gas bottles, fuel, paint, aerosols or loose batteries in the boxes, and tell us about anything heavy, fragile or valuable. Write the full German address with the 5-digit postcode and the name on the doorbell, and tell us if the building has a courtyard, a lift or a narrow staircase.
How Get It All Service ApS helps
We give you a fixed price in writing before anything moves, collect at the agreed time, and deliver to the ground floor. Basic transport insurance is included. Our shipping data sheet gives you a clear packing list, which is useful for insurance and for checking every box on arrival. Questions
Do I pay customs duty to send my belongings from Denmark to Germany?
No. Denmark and Germany are both in the EU customs union, so there are no customs duties on goods moving between them.
Do I need a customs declaration?
No, not for goods for your own or your family’s use. Goods for sale are handled differently, so tell us if anything is commercial.
Do you deliver upstairs?
Delivery is to the ground floor at street level. Carrying the goods upstairs is arranged by the receiver.
How long does it take?
It depends on the address and the size of the shipment. We confirm the expected timing in writing with your fixed price.
